Preview: Chapter 1 Death and Life

When the lights go out, the story only begins.

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Blood was everywhere. I was unconscious and nonresponsive. My lungs had failed.

The rhythm of the heart monitor echoed through the ambulance like a countdown. Every second felt heavier than the last. Medics exchanged glances, silent but knowing. They had seen this before—the pale skin, the erratic breathing, the body teetering between life and death. But this case was different.

I was young. Too young.

I was only one month away from my 21st birthday. So much for a party. The back of my skull had shattered against the pavement. My brain didn’t even register the pain; it simply shut off. Blood poured from my ears—the only way the pressure could escape. My body had turned against itself—vomit pooling into my lungs.

By the time I reached the ER, the verdict was already in their eyes: this was the end.

Cases like mine didn’t end well. The statistics were undeniable. They said even if I ever came back, it would be a life barely worth calling one. My parents, still 1,000 miles away, received the call no mother or father should ever hear: “You need to come now.” Nurses spoke of me in the past tense: “He didn’t even write a last will, did he?”

And yet, faced with all that was “final” on earth, there was the voice that called me higher—one too quiet for human ears but strong enough to shake my entire reality.

Because what no one knew, what no one could know, was that the body lying in that hospital bed wasn’t really me. I had already left.

From the moment my skull cracked against the pavement, I was no longer in this world. My spirit had departed, leaving my body as a hollow glove left behind. And what I saw, what I experienced beyond the veil of this life, was more real than anything I could ever have expected.
I simply invite you to ask yourself the question: What if?

One day, soon enough your last breath will come, and you will leave this earth as well, which is why I have written this for you. You need to know the truth. By the end of reading this book, you will finally understand:

Heaven is not just a location.

Heaven is Him.

Baby poirot is almost here! 13 days away. Read our miracle story below⬇️

We had been given an infertile diagnosis by a doctor last year and she even attempted to put Ally on birth control, which didn't make any sense and we totally refused. We told her that we trusted in the living God, and we did not lose heart. God led us to start sowing into other young couples, and specifically help moms choose life instead of death on the sidewalk of planned parenthoods across the country.

Sure enough, the word of the Lord that he spoke to us came to pass: that we would reap what we sowed. A month after we witnessed a baby's life saved in Virginia, we found out we were pregnant. PRAISE GOD.
