I decided to set myself the challenge of reach 5000 subscribers by 2027. Ive got a few trip with wildlife Ive filmed around Essex, and more trips planned, a mini doc on weds on a tidal mudflat and some other Ive written and need to film.
But what sort of vids do you want to see. Some species profiles, identification guides for UK wildlife, or more filmmaking tips?
Just leave a comment below if you have any suggestions :)

Just bought myself an Arduino board which is sort of a 'mini computer'. And if all goes to plan my pond life videos are going to improve dramatically, with the help of this bit of equipment, and a whole load more components.
Electric, water and not being sure what I'm doing... What could go wrong!? Lol

Well I fell just short of my target of 4000 followers by the end of 2025, but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has watched, liked, commented and shared my videos on this channel and my@PondLabchannel.
And I've just posted a video of my wildlife and filming highlights of 2025 you can watch here: https://youtu.be/VOaDqPRaU_k

Looking at my analytics the other day I realised I'm pretty close to 4000 subscribers, so I've decided I'm going to try reach that by the end of the year.
I've been pretty consistent sharing shorts recently and my Introduction to Wildlife Filmmaking was well received and gained me a few too.
I just posted a video where I recorded nearly all the audio (well narration) in the field which sped up the editing, so I'll be interested to hear what everyone thinks. I just me sat in one spot on the Thames estuary for a few hours filming what I can see

If you have ever fancied trying wildlife filmmaking or just want some tips on how to get better footage, I just posted a video on that very subject - its a long one though so get comfy first!
2 years ago I recorded a video on how to film wildlife along with my "wildlife Filmmaking setup" video, but it didn't come out very well. So a few months later I re-recorded it in a bird hide, but by the time I got round to editing I had thought of loads more things to include/better ways to explain stuff.
Finally earlier this year I recorded the A roll for this video, but spent the next few months adding in more and recording examples to illustrate what I was explaining.
But I recently finished editing it and it went live this morning!
