Hey everyone! I was hoping to finish my Vampirecore video for posting today but HA! What a silly notion, considering I'm in the middle of moving into my NEW STUDIO. 🥳 You know how the moving process is. It's all consuming. I'm exhausted, delirious, and loving it.

So I'm pushing my Vampirecore video to next Sunday, then after that I'll probably do a post-move video showing you how my studio is coming along. Until then, Helo and I will be busy settling in to our new little oasis. 🥰

As if I needed another reason to leave my current apartment building... 😑 I just went down to my car to take a bunch of stuff to the new apartment, and YAY MY CAR WAS BROKEN INTO!

🚨 Fellow Seattleites, I highly recommend you STAY AWAY from Cielo Apartments, unless you love:

- Your car getting broken into (this is my 3rd break-in since living here).
- The elevators breaking down on a regular basis (which is wonderful in a 31-floor building).
- A gym filled with equipment that's been breaking down one by one for the past year or so, with zero repairs.
- A management company whose go-to response to all this is that they're "waiting to hear back from the vendor about a specific part" which, in my opinion, is code for "we don't want to spend the money and don't give a fuck about our residents".
- An apartment full of fruit flies because the trash compactor broke a long time ago, and there was a mountain of literal garbage on the ground floor for a while.
- An air conditioner that sounds like a rocket ship taking off, and being told by maintenance that you're lucky your AC even works because half the building's doesn't (I feel sooo bad for all the tenants who had to go without AC this summer).
- A building that has a Yelp page filled almost exclusively with 1-star reviews and still doesn't change its conduct.
- A building that markets itself as luxury, but is run like a slum.
- Paying high rent for this shit show.

I wasn't going to get this intense about this (I tried my best to keep things classy in today's video, haha) but after just discovering my car like this, I'm honestly fuming.

And seeing as how the majority of my audience is located in Seattle, I want to make sure NONE of you are influenced by me to move into Cielo. I know of at least one person who moved here after seeing one of my videos a couple years ago, and I don't want anyone else to think this is a good place to live.

This building was lovely at first. If it were managed better, it would still be a nice place to live. But this place is just so fucking shady. Stay away!

Happy Sunday everyone! Unfortunately there won't be a new video today, but I plan on getting back to my regular posting schedule next Sunday. 💕

I ended up taking an unplanned break that was supposed to only push back my schedule by just one week, but then a couple roadblocks got thrown in - including an almost week-long migraine I'm still dealing with as I type this. 😭 Do any of you deal with migraines? Mine never last multiple days like this, and holy shit, it's been a nightmare. Blurred vision, headaches, confusion, nausea... the works.

Anyway, I have most of the script written for my next video on Mermaidcore, so I plan on getting back on track by next Sunday!

When it comes to adding personality and character to an otherwise plain apartment living room, really think about the stories you want the space to tell, and think about how you want the space to make you feel.

In my case, I wanted to have some more soft, romantic, feminine style stories in my living room, and I wanted the space to feel cozy and relaxing. And recognizing these desires guided me through my styling choices!
