Public speaking is a skill that opens doors, yet many struggle with fear and self-doubt. On November 30th, I had a great opportunity to host a public speaking workshop in Kozhikode, with 30 participants.
A big thanks to Venkitachalam KR and ANNAPOORNI E.G. for planning and executing the event.
The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Sajith C, Personal Stylist and International Model, and graced by NR Madhu, Chief Editor of Kesari Publishers; UP Santhosh, Bureau Chief of Janmabhoomi; and Ms. Vanaja, Joint Secretary of Bhajana Kovil Temple and President of Chalappuram Raksha Samithi Vanitha Vibhaag.
What We Discussed in the Workshop:
1) Beat FOFO, FOPO, FOBO, FOMU with preparation & practise
2) Active listening, firm messaging, strong eye contact
3) Straight spine, own space, open confident posture
4) Consistency matters.
We wrapped up with hands-on practice through a mock group discussion and a press conference to apply these skills in real scenarios.
