THIS IS IT! Your final week of this challenge, though lots more classes coming your way in 2026.
You decide how you want to finish! Wrap up with strong glutes and energy on Thursday, or take one of the optional community favourite classes on Saturday; warm core under 30 mins, or a full length, full body fire class ⎯ both solid options for guaranteed sunshine.
It's been a joy. Hope this series has reinvigorated your love for movement, and fired you up to have a fantastic year ahead!
RETURN TO SUNSHINE ☀️ Pilates Challenge: Week 3 BONUS WORKOUT
Upper body... into push ups! Side quest sunshine story for you ⎯ This week in studio, one of my favourite clients came into class super bright eyed (she always does, though on this occasion she had some YAPS for me). After nearly a year consistently coming to Pilates, she casually told her boyfriend she could do a full push up.
Naturally, he requested proof.
She said she demonstrated not one... but TWO push ups. Strong, technically sound, enthusiastic.
I asked ⎯ "on your knees, yeah?"
She said ⎯ "on my TOES."
The SMILE on my face y'all. And the smile on HER face! I loved her story because I know, like many of us, push ups feel like a mountain to climb. I have taught this girl pilates for almost a year (emphasis on YEAR). I'm SO proud of her for the way she consistently shows up for herself, week in, and week out, month after month.
You won't see it immediately, but if you keep showing up for yourself, you keep putting in the work (which includes rest & recovery btw), you keep persevering, it creates results. In your body, and more importantly, in the way you feel about yourself.
So grab your resistance band, or a pair of dumbbells, and let's begin the climb! It doesn't matter whether you make it to the top today. What matters is the intention with which you try.

One of the greatest sources of sunshine in our lives are our friends ⎯ our chosen family. So this week, I encourage you to give them a little extra love; maybe a surprise phone call, dropping off some homemade food, or scheduling a fun workout together (Lou and I would LOVE you to join us!!).
The wonderful thing about uplifting others in small & wholesome ways is that it makes you feel good too.

This week is feeling a few degrees hotter because we’re bringing out the dumbbells! 1 - 2kg weights are fab. It is totally okay to take breaks or pop them down. Yes, we’re here to challenge ourselves; we’re also here to enjoy movement and create a positive association around our time on the mat. Your body will tell you what it needs.
Also, here’s a reminder to celebrate yourself! Yesterday I received the MOST heart warming message on Instagram from one of our YouTube family about her INCREDIBLE progress since finding the channel and following along a different series for 5 months! I was smiling ear to ear into my pho soup (that I was happily slurping up on a 40 degree day here in Sydney, make it make sense…). Family, pleeeease continue to share your wins with me 🥹 Not only does it create this vortex of sunshine between you and I, but because all too often we forget to zoom out and acknowledge our progress.
Small, consistent action over time moves the needle. You choose which direction that needle points (hopefully - towards health, wealth & sunshine).

If one of your goals this year is to build more consistency with your Pilates practice / workout routine, then I'd recommend taking these classes in the morning. The classes in this challenge are short & sweet ⎯ totally achievable to help you develop consistency. So before the world pulls you in all different directions, roll out your mat, get that healthy boost of positive energy in, and let it colour the rest of your day!
