It started when I was trying to complete the final chapters of Shadow Dragon as I was listening to Flower Man. And after reading the lore in the game,, the idea started to form in my head. “What if I make a fe sd animation with this song…”

For the implied self-harm (this is.. a headcanon), Marth wasn't doing so well when he first arrived in Talys at age 14. Of course, it was a long, painful journey, away from his own home.
Marks started to appear on his wrists, and eventually they were wrapped up in bandages. They were the most recent scars.

When he was held captive, the bandages were ripped apart.

Am I ever gonna stop making Marth the punching bag? Probably not, but it is interesting to explore Marth's vulnerability and his self depreciation. Still letting him eat sand whenever I feel like it... Euuuughh
