My love for plein air painting and urban sketching has been around for many years but it wasn't until last year I finally pushed through, so that I would get to know my materials better, and would get more comfortable painting and sketching in public (which is something I know many of us struggle with).
And my oh my...do I have zero regrets of discovering the benefits of being outdoors and being fully immersed in my surroundings. It has become a true life saver. A way to regulate my nervous system, which is also why choosing a good spot is crucial 😅.
