Today in our homeschool we read Howard Thurman’s Great Hope, and it was such a powerful reminder of why celebrating Black history matters so deeply in our homes. 🖤🤍❤️💚

Black history isn’t just about learning dates or events—it’s about honoring faith, courage, wisdom, and perseverance that have shaped our world and our walk with God. ❤️

Howard Thurman’s life and words invite us to slow down, listen, and reflect on the quiet strength of hope rooted in God, even in the face of hardship.

As a homeschool mom, I want my children to grow up seeing the beauty, depth, and spiritual legacy within Black history—not only in February, but as an ongoing part of how we understand God’s story and His people.

I’m so grateful for books like this that open up meaningful conversations with my children and plant seeds of compassion, truth, and reverence in their hearts. ❤️
