A new freemium service from MakeWithTech is almost ready for feedback from the community. The site integrates with Thingiverse to improve the OpenSCAD experience. The basic hosted OpenSCAD customizer will be free for everyone. A future subscription upgrade will add model storage, advanced features, and potentially faster processing. Here are some pictures just to give you an idea of its potential.
All of the black and white images of STL files are 3d renderings with rotation, scaling, and panning.
A video announcing the release of the POC (Proof of Concept) will be posted soon. Keep watching the channel. Click on the bell to make sure you are notified.

Exciting news about a new way to communicate and build a community. Folks, I am pleased to announce the beta release of the new DrVax community forum. Just head over to forum.drvax.com/, and let's start building a community of "makers' that are learning new things together.
** Reposted to correct errors **
As the DrVax channel grows, it is becoming much harder for me to reply to all of the comments, emails, and even phone calls that I receive from viewers. Therefore I am going to ask for your help. While I will continue to actively answer as many comments as possible, this forum will provide a vehicle for ALL of us to engage in discussions together.
YouTube video comments do not work well for building a community for three primary reasons. First, each comment is tied to a specific video, second viewers are unable to post images and third, the comments have limited formatting options. The forum.drvax.com environment supports both threaded discussions and pictures, so a community member can post a picture as part of a question or highlight a point.
Right now, the forum is open for all viewers without creating an account. To leave a comment, you will have to create an account.
***** The forum is running on vBulletin, which is quite complicated. It is likely that I currently have some of the options wrong. Please feel free to let me know at drvax@cogitations.com if you have difficulty signing up, viewing posts, or with other forum features. *****
One of the posts I have added to the forum is the latest copy of the start of print gCode I created for Cura users. This gcode was highlighted in my most recent video about printing PETG. A very knowledgable viewer mentioned that the second set of temperature commands was unnecessary, and he might be correct. It does not hurt, and I want to do some additional testing before I recommend removing it. Here is a link to the gCode:

Thank you in advance for participating in the forum. Let's continue to learn things together.

Of all the videos I have published my review of the ANET ET4 has generated the most controversy due to ANET's use of proprietary firmware. I have posted an article to the DrVax blog outlining my position on these complex issues. You can read about it here:

After using the pocket square mask click for a few days I found the corners where the pocket square is inserted started to tear. So I just uploaded a new version. It is a bit thicker, 1mm vs .8mm, and I moved the ends of the diamond in a bit so it is less likely to tear.
Both the STL and the Freecad files are attached to this shared Google Drive Folder:

Enjoy.
P.S. I have tried updating Thingiverse but I have had no success so far.

Folks sorry I went quite on everyone. About 2 weeks ago I was diagnose with the corona virus and about 5 days ago they woke me up again after being on a ventilator for a week. Not a new diet plan I would recommend. Unfortunate in a week on a ventilator you loose most of your muscle based skills. Little things like walking have to be learned again. I will track my journey and once I have the dexterity will produce a set of videos about the experience.
Thanks for being a subscriber.
