I’m very happy to share that I’m now an official Environmental Partner of 1% for the Planet.

What does this mean?
It means that 1% of everything I earn goes directly back to protect the wild places I’ve been lucky enough to explore and film. This includes income from YouTube, Patreon, travel guides, group trips and more.

The organizations I support will change every year, but all are verified by 1% for the Planet, ensuring that your support truly reaches trusted environmental initiatives.

It’s a first step in using this platform to help protect the places I got to love and explore.

I’m proud to make this commitment, and I hope it inspires others to give back in their own way.

🌍 Where on Earth is Réunion Island?

I've been getting that question a lot! 😅
Located in the Indian Ocean, east of Madagascar and southwest of Mauritius, Réunion is a paradise with volcanic landscapes, lush rainforests, and breathtaking beaches. The island is about 63 kilometers (39 miles) long and is home to the Piton des Neiges, the tallest peak in the Indian Ocean, standing at 3,070 meters (10,072 feet).

In the film, I take on the GRR2, a challenging and spectacular hiking trail that crosses the island from north to south.

Hello, everyone!

Interested in knowing more about the gear I use?

I just published a 1500-word article on my camera gear on Patreon!
In it, I explain in great detail the three unique gear kits I take with me on my adventures, and the reasons why I picked them. You'll learn about lenses, why I chose Panasonic, the weight, how I am constantly fine-tuning (and custom-modifying) my gear, and much more.

Next week, I'll be launching a similar article about all my camera settings, and coming soon are in-depth articles about my hiking gear.
