to have your heart living outside of your chest is a sacred kind of vulnerability. not rooted in fear, but in the overwhelming awe of watching a tiny human grow right before your eyes.
from positive tests and tiny flutters, to first smiles and deep belly laughs. from little babbles to singing at the top of their lungs. from the moment you first lay eyes on them to the last nursing session… children truly are a blessing, a reward, an inheritance.
i’ve only ever wanted to be a mother. and i praise the Lord with my whole heart that He chose me to be theirs.
others may not see the whispered prayers, the midnight wakings, or the deep understanding of “here is my body, broken for you; take and eat.” but the Lord does.
He sees every moment — the discipleship, the joy, the grief, the “what do i do next?”, the patience, the failures, the quiet faithfulness. and still, He blesses us.
motherhood has humbled me in more ways than i can count. it has brought me to my knees in surrender and gratitude. it has given me a new song of praise unto the Lord. it has stretched me, ached me, refined me, redeemed me, and healed me. and through it all, Christ has remained at the center of it.
I wanted to pop on here and share a little life update — we welcomed our baby boy, and we are officially a family of four 🫶🏻
I’ve been quietly soaking up newborn snuggles, adjusting to life with two little ones, and giving my heart and home the space to rest and recover.
Thank you for your patience and for being here even in the quiet — it truly means more than I can put into words.
I’m planning to slowly return to posting once we find a rhythm as a family of four. Content may look a little different in this season — a bit slower, a bit softer — but still rooted in faith, motherhood, and the simple life we’re building here at home. 🕊️
