423417 ‘Gordon Pettitt’ being dragged by 31128 ‘Charybdis’ at Worting Junction this afternoon on the way to the Watercress Line Diesel Gala this weekend. 31210 was supposed to be on the consist but overheated and is now too unfit to run at the gala and will now instead be on static display
I will upload a long form video of the whole Diesel Gala as I’m sure I’ll have enough recordings of it to make a video. 56103 & 60099 will be making their way down to the Watercress Line on early Saturday morning (0A87)
Hello, I’ll try upload some stuff soon with the Watercress Diesel Gala coming up. I’ve been uploading more on TikTok at the moment but I’ll try and keep it the same with YouTube. With the social media ban coming up I have no idea if I’ll be able to upload stuff from next Spring onward but oh well

With the Swanage Diesel Gala coming up, 37607, 58023, 20006 & 26007 were in a convoy off down to Swanage. I’m visiting there on the 9th with @LocoLover2 & @RD_Trains . 99004, a 4TC, 73119, 73141 & 33025 are all coming as well
So I haven’t been uploading much lately because I haven’t seen any special trains recently but I have finished making a ‘Train Horn & Whistle Compilation’ so I will upload that soon to make up for the lack of videos

With proof from SWR & Modern Railways, the Class 458/4s will start to be withdrawn during Summer 2026
This is because SWR will start introducing the 701/5s into service in the coming months making the 458s ‘not needed’ and ‘useless’. This is really disappointing news as the 458s never actually made it onto the Portsmouth Direct Line & it’s just a big waste of that £20 Refurbishment in 2024
They’ve had the exact same outcome as the Class 442s (which also got refurbished by SWR and put on the Portsmouth Direct Line then got withdrawn shortly after)
34046 ‘Braunton’ & 220028 at Reading on I believe its first day in service after its refurbishment (I also rode it and it’s quite nice, but still overcrowded.)
