LNER have just leaked images of the interior of their new Class 897 units arriving soon, these seats look stunning 🤩(compared to other modern stock)
Well done LNER you were and are still my favourite Train Operator, and although these aren’t as good as other seats, due to fire safety regulations I’m surprised they were able to do something like this
There’s even a Water Refill Station which is something great to see, I can’t wait to ride these, I can’t stress enough how good this looks lol
The Class 897s have been named “Serenza’s” and I wonder if this brand name will be put on the side like the Azuma brand 🤔
Today marked the end of an era for not just London but the whole National Rail network.
The Class 455s were the last BR EMUs left in England and after a strong & reliable 42 years of service, the railtour departed at 19:54 disappearing off into the darkness…
Its hard to believe after all these years of my experiences on them, I will never be able to do it again, ever
One of the best days out on trains I’ve had in what seems like a while, and it only started to dawn on me at Waterloo that I will not see one again
I will strongly miss these units and this day won’t be forgotten.
These are some of my favourite trains, scrapped & withdrawn or not
I had a very fun day around London today with @LocoLover2 and tommorow is going to be (hopefully) better with the 455 Farewell Tour
I’m really excited but in a way I am sad that they are going but good things don’t live forever, it’s also crazy how only 1 455 set was running today, that’s how sparse they have been getting..

I’ve changed the profile picture a bit, a reference to the 455 farewell logo but with my initial on it lol. I hope it is better 👍

More 455 pictures because I’m bored 🙃
The video about me chasing it will be out near the end of the week because of Christmas and stuff…
The last scheduled 455 service is happening tonight, but they’ll stick around just in case anymore Arterios break until March lol
