Escape in the Motorhome
After more than two years looking for an adventure, it finally took a failed house move to put what would have been stamp duty to better use. We bought a motorhome! And of course we had to name it Stampy. We're new to this lark and like to give you the 'warts and all' experience, so don't expect expertise, though hopefully we'll give you some laughs everytime we get it wrong.
Before the failed house move, we had planned to get a second house in France, but then a pandemic and Brexit happened and we were scuppered! So we feel like our time in Stampy is our chance to do something different in our lives.
We live on the south coast of England and have four sons, one of whom is now grown up! Our three younger ones are all home ed, and mostly don't mind the motorhome adventures!

Hello all! This is us last month in Leiden in The Netherlands! Just swinging on here to let you know there is a video out this evening at 7pm. We still haven't sold the motorhome so while we wait, we can't go on any travels as we've now SORN it! However, Daz managed to squeeze in one more weekend away with our youngest in The New Forest before we did that, and they managed to have a fab time. Can't wait to buy the next vehicle for travel adventures!

Beautiful sunshine! After a busy day of reading, running, yoga and editing we've squeezed in a walk in a village we used to live in, and here I am having some chips with Sammy sitting between the oldest yew tree avenue in England! Well, so it says on this sign here. So, the vlog will be out TOMORROW (Monday) teatime with the first installment of last week's adventures in West Bay, where we are coming to a sad conclusion about motorhome life ❤️💔

Hello all! Currently en route to Bridport in Stampy for a few days, AND we will have a video out tonight (Monday, teatime-ish) which is mostly Daz sorting Stampy's fuel leak, but there is a little of our hazy summer memories in Hayling Island in there too! Loved meeting going to the donkey sanctuary!

Afternoon campers! Hope all is well. In tonight's video (out 6.30pm Sunday), we have a jolly lovely time at Blists Hill Victorian town in Ironbridge, but before that we get stuck on the Rheidol railway track in Wales, so everyone is evacuated out of the motorhome! Never a dull moment! 💓
