In a tiny corner of my unfinished basement with 6'3" ceilings (and with cheap mics and a Behringer USB interface) 😂

It's been an exciting few months in Frightbox Land lately...

I'm currently midway through the design phase for my new studio and I absolutely cannot wait to get back to work and start producing out of the new spot.

I've been working with studio designer Wilson Harwood of ‪@soundproofyourstudio‬.

The layout and functionality of the new space is gonna be pretty unique and Wilson has been doing an amazing job bringing it all to life.

I'll be sharing the entire build process on this channel as soon as we start, so keep an eye out to watch the entire process unfold.

A brand new Frightbox mixing tutorial will drop next Thursday, August 1st at 8:30 AM EST.

If you're a regular viewer of my YouTube channel, you might have noticed that uploads have been a little sparse as of late and I wanna fill you in on why. It pretty much comes down to two reasons:
​
1) I'm currently knee-deep in producing a new EP with my good friends in a band called Poeta.
​
2) I'm finally closing my original studio (after 19 years!) and have been busy planning out the build for the new Frightbox 2.0!

This photo might not look like much right now, but it's where Frightbox 2.0's "Studio A" will be built very soon.
​
Natural drum ambiance is an important part of my productions and I can't wait to share my plans for the new drum room with you...I think you're gonna find it interesting.
​
Building this studio is gonna be a lot of work, but I'll be documenting the entire process on the channel for you to enjoy and hopefully take inspiration from.
​
I've got A TON of new content in the works and I absolutely cannot wait to get back to sharing it all with you.
