not gonna lie I voted whizkid as best player, also everyone that's like "Why didn't Doggie or Bli or Culuc get any nominations" is ignorant to the fact that Doggie not only just isn't as good as everyone but whizkid raw skill wise but didn't accomplish as much as everyone else due to how ambitious verifying GRIEF is, bli didn't do shit all year and culuc maybe should've been nominated best platformer creator but didn't do much either. If you're the best at something but put in no work, you shouldn't get recognition.

Here’s the true story about my inactivity and ‘monitor breaking’:

I broke my monitor playing the Slaughterhouse predrop. Slaughterhouse is the only GD level that I’ve genuinely found fun to play and progress in and there is no other level that I have dedicated such a vast attempt count to. For reference, I have around 7.5k total in Bloodbath (remember, my account is older than the verification of Bloodlust), probably 9k in Maybe Possibly Thing and 18k to 20k in all 3 Second Hell variants. However, my slaughterhouse attempt count in total is around 30k. I can see myself beating the level with enough dedication, and tbh I can see myself beating levels way above my skill range if I was dedicated. It took months and months for me to beat Thanatophobia, but my final attempt count was only 5k. I would’ve been spending on average 50 attempts a day only, not nearly enough to beat a level quickly, frankly because I wasn’t determined enough. Matter of fact, most levels I wasn’t even determined enough to play. I’ve had probably the same extra high skill cap for years at this point, which is why most of my new hardests or overall hardest completions are done in very few attempts. I have especially been motivated by my friend of over 5 years who has started jumping from Nine Circles to Bloodbath, a level that if I beat it, I would consider my 2nd hardest, after I strongly advised him not to, but he’s been absolutely shredding through, having passed Michi from 0% and doing 59-100 already after only a few weeks. It seems as though he has had the same issue as me of having so much more potential than I ever have the determination to use. When I have the money for a new monitor, I will try to derust and play whatever the heck I want. It may take months, who knows. See you all then.
