Sh. Anurag Yadav, CGM/Noida, accompanied the team up to New Rewari, while Sh. Vineet Tyagi, CGM/Jaipur, accompanied them from New Rewari to New Shri Madhopur, along with Dy. CPM/Finance Dr. S. P. Pandey and other officers of Jaipur Unit.

As part of the visit, plantation was also undertaken at the Mock-up Centre at New Shri Madhopur.

On 20.05.2026, a theft of 61 batteries from an Auto Location Hut (ALH) in #DFCCIL's Mumbai Unit was reported from a remote location, posing a serious challenge to the security of critical railway infrastructure.

Following the incident, an extensive investigation was launched using advanced surveillance and intelligence techniques, including the analysis of over 100 CCTV cameras, dump data, Call Detail Records (CDRs), cyber inputs, and continuous coordination with local police and the #RPF. The investigation also involved tracking suspicious vehicle movements and developing local intelligence, which ultimately led to the identification of the accused.

On 05.08.2026, the joint efforts of the DFCCIL Security Team and RPF Palghar resulted in the arrest of four accused, including one juvenile, along with the receiver of the stolen railway property. The investigation also revealed the involvement of one accused in another battery theft case, while efforts are underway to recover the remaining stolen property.

The successful operation was carried out under the guidance of Sh. Jitendra Srivastava, GM/Security, with a dedicated team led by Sh. Sudhir Kumar Agnihotri, ASC/DFCCIL, comprising Sh. Bijendra Kumar, ASI/DFCCIL; Sh. Hridesh Singh, ASI/DFCCIL; Sh. Ajay Mahajan, ASI/DFCCIL; Sh. Ajay Chandra Yadav, ASI/DFCCIL, along with the RPF Palghar team.
