DFCCIL conducted an Interactive CGM Seminar on “Dispute Resolution & Contract Closure (EDFC)” on 08.01.2026 at its Corporate Office, Noida, under the chairmanship of the Shri Praveen Kumar, Managing Director, DFCCIL along with Shri Anurag Sharma Director Infra and other senior officials
The MD’s leadership and guidance set the direction for focused deliberations on strengthening contractual governance, resolving disputes efficiently, and ensuring timely closure of contracts. The seminar witnessed wide participation, with officers engaging in constructive discussions, sharing field experiences, and aligning on best practices for effective project execution.
The session reaffirmed DFCCIL’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and robust contract management in the delivery of India’s Dedicated Freight Corridor projects.

As part of DFCCIL’s continued commitment to building world-class freight infrastructure, a comprehensive site visit and inspection was conducted by Sh. S. P. Verma, GGM/BD & BA, Corporate Office, Noida at GCT New Sakhun (Schedule-2, Railway Land) and GCT New Malikpur (Schedule-1, Private Land) to review the progress of ongoing development works.
In addition to the terminal sites, the adjoining station areas were also inspected with a special focus on safety and operational compliance , ensuring that infrastructure development aligns with efficient and secure train operations.
He was accompanied by Sh. J. K. Agrawal, AGM/BD; Sh. Chandra Shekhar Sharma, Manager/BD; Sh. C. L. Chaudhary, Area Manager; officials from the CGM Jaipur Unit; and representatives from Globecoast.

* Assessment of construction progress
* Review of ongoing works
* Identification of bottlenecks
* Inspection of station facilities from safety and operational perspectives
* Strategies to accelerate timelines for early commissioning of both terminals
The visit reaffirmed DFCCIL’s proactive approach towards safe, efficient, and timely execution of #infrastructure projects. These GCTs are expected to significantly enhance multimodal connectivity, streamline freight movement, and strengthen India’s logistics ecosystem.

An investor engagement meeting was held today at the CGM/Jaipur Office, chaired by Shri S. P. Verma, GGM/BD & BA (Corporate Office, Noida), along with Shri R. S. Choudhary, CGM/Jaipur, and senior officials of Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL).
Representatives from M/s Globecast Shipping & Logistics Pvt. Ltd., Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR), Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), Laghu Udyog Bharti and Max Shipping & Forwarding Pvt. Ltd., Jaipur participated. Discussions focused on enhancing multimodal connectivity, improving cargo handling and warehousing efficiencies, and exploring collaborative initiatives to support MSMEs and strengthen regional supply chains.
The Investor Meet also engaged key stakeholders to explore opportunities for strengthening freight and logistics collaboration on the Dedicated Freight Corridor. The session enabled meaningful dialogue on investment avenues, logistics integration, and leveraging the corridor for efficient, scalable freight movement—reinforcing DFCCIL’s commitment to collaborative growth and stakeholder engagement.

Since the commissioning of the 80 kW rooftop solar plant on 16 November 2024, OCC Ahmedabad has achieved a significant sustainability milestone.
In 2025, the installation generated 110,728 kWh of clean solar energy, resulting in electricity cost savings of ₹12,53,691.18. This achievement highlights the effective adoption of renewable energy to reduce operational costs, lower dependence on conventional power sources, and support environmentally responsible operations.

As part of a focused #safety awareness and counselling drive, 26 counselling sessions were conducted at New Marwar Station under the chairmanship of Sh. Vineet Tyagi, CGM/Ajmer.
During the sessions, Sh. Rajesh Navhal, DGM/OP&BD; Sh. Vivek Kala, Dy. CPM/S&T; Sh. Arvinder Singh, Dy. CPM/Engg; Sh. Sunil Saini, APM/Safety; Sh. Uma Shankar, JPM/OP&BD (MJND); and Sh. Mahipal Meena, JPM/OP&BD (BGMN) addressed staff from all departments, reinforcing the importance of strict adherence to safety protocols, safe work practices, and collective responsibility on the field.
The counselling sessions focused on risk awareness, behavioural safety, and accountability at the workplace, reinforcing the message that safety is not an option but a shared responsibility. Through direct interaction and guidance, the drive aimed to strengthen a proactive safety culture, ensuring that every task—whether operational, maintenance, or field-related—is carried out with alertness, discipline, and care.

A business development meeting was held between #DFCCIL and JSW Murbe Port Pvt. Ltd. to deliberate on the proposal for rail connectivity at Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) stations between New Palghar and New Saphale, under the Gati Shakti Multi Modal Cargo Terminal (GCT) Policy – Schedule I.
The meeting was chaired by Sh. Shobhit Bhatnagar, Director (OP&BD) and focused on unlocking seamless port–rail integration to enhance #logistics efficiency on the WDFC.

An MoU was signed between CHHRR&D and IILM University (Greater Noida), with the objective of fostering collaborative training programmes and ensuring effective utilisation of HHI assets.
