I'm gonna keep it real with you- I'm not sure tagging ten friends on your Instagram story is doing much to help BLM. Instead I'm going to urge you to, if you can, donate to or spread awareness for important causes. A few examples:

SHA’TENIA GRADY EL- this is a local case for me. Sha’Tenia, a Black woman, was brutalized by a white county police officer and then arrested. This was only a few minutes from where I live. She’s since been released, but the family still needs medical and legal support.

I recommend researching how you can help in your area. That might mean donating/spreading awareness for local organizations such as bail funds. That also might mean participating in a local demonstration. If you choose to do that, please be cautious. Keep a distance from other protestors and do wear a mask.
