Hey besties,
I think it’s important to ask how you’re all doing. 2023 is coming to a wrap and a lot has happened this year. I have learnt, made mistakes and hopefully grown. A few sad times followed by lots of laughter. That is my summary of 2023. I decided to do a channel rebrand and change our brand name. I chose the name “girlish” because it speaks more to my personality, content as well as audience. Let’s make 2024 an amazing year and as always, thanks for your constant support. Love & light.

I know I don’t say this often but coming on this platform has taught me things beyond my expectations and building a family here has been one of the most amazing experience for me.
I want to carry you guys along into my life and just share REAL stuffs with you guys other than sit down videos but I have been unable to do that because I don’t have all the gadgets I’ll need to create really qualitative content for you guys but I’m working on it I promise and soon we’ll be expanding our channel to include amazing lifestyle vlogs as well but in the meantime, thank you all so much for being supportive even when I go low, you guys always find a way to remind me that my craft is appreciated and that’s all that matters.

Have you ever woken up feeling numb on the 1st day of a new year?

The shoe fits right now and so I didn’t bother taking a picture of me where my face reads “this sucks or I have no idea what happened in 2020”. So I decided to take a walk and somehow I got a warm assurance from daybreak (which is cold by the way) but oh well...

The point is a lot of you are going to wake up today feeling like crap, lost and just think you have no idea how to start or plan for 2021 because 2020 didn’t go as planned.

Don’t freak out. Making it through 2020 is one of the greatest accomplishment and being a part of 2021 is even bigger because now you have the chance to do better with baby steps.

2020 was a year of mistakes, tears, pain, a few happy moments which I am thankful for but amidst everything, I got to understand myself, my priorities and learnt better and I’ll forever be thankful. 🥂 to 2021, growth and better times. Alhamdulillah.
