UPDATE ON FUNKIN IN THE BLIND FOREST

After much consideration. The update has been split into 2 parts

1.1 and 1.2

The mod still has everything planned

- Port of engine

- Extra animations

- New playable song(s)

- Erect remixes

- Selectable skins

- And more fun stuff!


We’ve started making progress and we’re hoping to release 1.1 this year and 1.2 next year.

From a realistic standpoint, this mod turned out just the way it was meant to be. A short, simple and fun mod for everyone who’s a fan of Ori and Friday Night Funkin to enjoy, and it doesn’t really need an update. That being said once the updates are complete, we are taking it easy with the update progress.

Final thing, short Q&A


Q: If you already played the mod, is the update worth playing?

A: 100%! The update is essentially doubling the content of the mod, but if you’re a person who doesn’t like downloading something for an extra few minutes of playtime, I would wait until 1.2


Q: Is 1.1 bigger or 1.2?

A: As of right now, 1.2 is set to be a bit bigger than 1.1, 1.1 is mostly getting the difficult stuff out of the way


Q: will all songs be receiving Erect remixes?

A: No, only story mode songs




Most of these updates are posted on our mod account. Much better than posting it here where it doesn’t gain any traction lol, so if you want more then go find us on Twitter!

Funkin In the Blind Forest V1.5 is officially in the works!

This update is not planned to have as big of a jump from the Demo to V1
But it will include a bunch of new things to enjoy from the mod!

This includes

- Engine Port (Unfortunately 😔)

- Selectable Skins (Og and Mod)

- Erect Remixes

- Even more polishing and making the current songs much better

The rest will be saved for teasers or for when V1.5 comes out


This will be the final update to the mod, we do not want to drag this mod forever
