It's been over a year since I posted the teaser for my Batman Beyond project. Since then, I've graduated from college, worked on dozens of brand deals and freelance projects, and grown immensely in my UE5 skills. These are early WIP screenshots of some shots from the full 2-min Batman Beyond trailer I plan to drop later this year.
Now, the full trailer is just that - a trailer... for something I don't have the means to make. It's merely a pitch. I'm creating this fake trailer to show what a live-action Batman Beyond film could look like using CG.
Most of the environments are created. They're all at about the 80% mark. The remaining 20% are finer details that will really bring it all home. After that, all that's left is motion capture and character animation. Before I start any of that, I'm waiting to receive a couple assets from some other creator friends of mine. In the mean time, I created most of the environments and have begun creating simple shot compositions and lighting setups.
Can't express how stoked I am to see all of this coming together piece by piece, shot by shot. I started this over 2 years ago. The finish line is actually in sight.
