Felicitations travelers, welcome to the Olimar YouTube channel at the end of the Universe. Here, you can find all manner of guides at length about Olimar's moveset in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, guides about advanced tech, and a few shitposts along the way, Pikmin-related or otherwise. I also run a Twitter account on the side where I preach to the choir about Olimar's hot mess of bugs.
If you're looking for more shitpost oriented content, that can be found here: youtube.com/channel/UC3Rbkd9XihEEiIdoFg3WNUg

Hello, hi, hello, yes, this is your bicentennial update for 10TT. First things first, though - thank you for 301+ subs!
There's a well-known technique in the Olimar playerbase called 'Winged Pikmin Dash' - players have known about it for years, and it's been put to good use, but I've never mentioned it once on the channel. I hope to give it the spotlight it deserves.
Little by little it's all coming together. I've said life and work are the main reasons why this has taken so long, but making a video at this scale is, in many ways, like designing a bike shed. You can probably imagine what one looks like, and go, 'I can design that.' But in how much time? Usually, more than you'd estimate; and if you fall into the trap of focusing on the smaller decisions and getting the finer details right ("Should the roof be made of tin or steel?") before focusing on the actual design of the thing, that time expands.
Making a video is also like animation - an artist could draw and animate an action frame-by frame... or they could block it out by starting with key poses to establish the most important transitions first, then focus on the key poses within those key poses, and so on. So, by comparison, blocking out the timeline of a video and getting key moments moving first, /before/ making them look good, is a much less cumbersome way of editing.

Attempting to rewire the Drake's textures for a shot in 10TT (so the interior looks as it does in-game). Maybe Alph will have his time in the spotlight...

I (STILL) ATEN'T DEAD.
I'm in one of two minds when I look at this channel. Part of me feels a little anxious - as in, "Wow, I did all this?" while also feeling like the person who did this is not the same person as the one viewing it now. Of course they are - and there's the other part of me, who also feels anxious, as in, "Bloody hell I need to finish 10 Tiny Things but I don't have the time and energy for it."
I had alluded to this in my last update video, but since "The Art of Olimar's Down Air" I've been dealing with a lot of stress in my life that I'm only just starting to process. I'm not someone who likes to share that sort of thing, but as as an audience, no matter the size, you're deserving of knowing what's happening with 10 Tiny Things.
I'm an editor, and I love making videos, and I'm trying to not let stress get the better of that. I'd say the video's about 75% done, and what's left over is mostly a bunch of bits and pieces. Most of the drudgery is finding b-roll and clips exemplary of the things I go over. I'd said that I wanted to incorporate some 3D animation into this video. I still intend to, although not to the scale I had set out at first.
Thanks for over 200 subs, by the way! You're powerful and I'm very grateful for your patience. I'm also aware that I continue to try it by saying that it'll be done when it's done.
