Hi my name is Lyn, I am a Cacti and Succulent Horticulturist and I have over 40 years experience of growing Cacti and Succulents.
I have grown Cacti & Succulents since a young child, and it is from my many years of growing these prickly and fleshy plants that I love to share videos on this channel on how you can care for and grow the many different types of Cacti and Succulents.
In my videos I share tips and tricks on the challenges as well as the many rewards that you can experience growing Cacti & Succulents.
My You Tube videos contain lots of 'How To' video tutorials that are suited for both beginners and advanced growers.
I upload videos on an almost daily basis on Cacti & Succulents and also share other Houseplant care videos too.

in 2017 I cross pollinated my Schlumbergera tendenza 'Orange Brazil' with my 70 year plus old Schlumbergera truncata and it was a success and I got seed, I sown the seeds in 2018 and today its blooming with a gorgeous flower colour of deep orange due to the mix between the orange and the red flowers, its so beautiful, here are some photos of my little hybrid blooming stunning today 😃 wishing you all a blooming lovely week ahead <3

Happy 1st September everyone <3 This is my Gymnocalycium mihanovichii variegata that has been blooming constantly all through Spring and Summer <3 as soon as one bloom finishes another bud grows and blooms, this stunning cactus was gifted to me by my wonderful friends Daz and Edith at Cactimania @Cactimania :-D Wishing you all a wonderful cactus powered September. <3

YIPEEEEEE! I am VERY excited to let you guys know that I have a Collaboration video with the AWESOME Cactus Joe @cactusjoe here on You Tube coming up on both of our You Tube Channels this coming Saturday ( 26th October 2024 )
In this exciting collaboration video both Joe and I will be sharing with you how we both got into the hobby of growing Cacti & Succulent Plants. We will both be sharing two different videos on the history and our stories of how we both got 'hooked' ( excuse the pun haha! ) on growing these wacky and wonderful plants on each of our individual channels.

Hey Guys :-D APOLOGIES for not replying to your comments on my videos over the past 10 days, I have been incredibly busy working very long 16 hour days on a very exciting work project ( not cactus related haha ) as a Freelancer I work a few different jobs and this often requires me to work away for a number of days/weeks at a time, I promise I haven't forgotten you all and I will be back to catch up with replying to my comments and uploading videos again very soon, thanks so much to you all for your continued support on my channel, Here is a photo of my Parodia magnifica that is blooming beautiful in the polytunnel now, Wishing you all an AWESOME blooming Tuesday.
