Hi! So you guys might have noticed a little bit of a slowdown in uploads. I mentioned this in a previous video but I have a full time job now. YouTube is incredibly inconsistent when it comes to revenue and living off of that instability became very negative for my mental health. It’s almost like my worth started being dependent on whether or not a video did well or not. Feels very silly to say but having done YouTube for years now it started to feel like it at times.
So I decided to make YouTube something I do out of my own creative liberties - free of that feeling of necessity to survive anymore. And honestly I’ve been so much less stressed and feel more passionate about making videos again because I know I don’t have to rely on it to pay my rent anymore. It’s honestly how I started the channel in the first place making videos when I wasn’t taking university classes. I love making videos and I love that you guys enjoy them. So I will not stop uploading but there may be a bit more of a delay between uploads now.
