When did Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan receive the Gurumantra?
It was the last Sunday of March during a spiritual discourse at Shah Mastana Ji Dham. Gurmeet Singh Ji (Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan) had accompanied His respected father to the satsang. At the time, He was just around seven years old.
As the disciples were being seated inside the area for Gurumantra, His Holiness Param Pita Ji lovingly called young Gurmeet Singh Ji to His side. Embracing Him with deep affection, He gently asked, “Kaka, which village are you from? Is everything alright?”
Following this tender exchange, His Holiness Param Pita Ji bestowed upon Him the sacred Gurumantra, marking a profound spiritual moment.

The Search for the Successor By Param Pita Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj
On the morning of August 15, 1967, Param Pita Shah Satnam Ji Maharaj came to deliver a spiritual discourse. On that significant day, His holiness instructed the sewadars, “Turn the stage to face the West direction today, for the divine power—the third spiritual body foretold by Beparwah Mastana Ji- has taken birth in that direction.”
To eliminate any doubts within the hearts of devotees, a divine play unfolded. Citing illness as a reason, a formal search for the spiritual successor was initiated. Gatherings were held wherein the extraordinary virtues of the successor were vividly described. Also, The sangat was asked to recognise the rightful successor of the spiritual legacy.
