🎧 Audio Analysis in TouchDesigner
One of the most powerful tools we have in TouchDesigner is Audio Analysis.
With this technique, we can transform music into visual movement: every beat, frequency, or variation in sound can become a wave, a shape, a texture, or an animation.
With the Audio Analysis TOP, you can extract values such as:
Volume (signal amplitude)
Frequencies (low, mid, high)
Beat detection to sync lights, geometry, or effects
This means you can literally paint with sound and make your audio-visual performances even more dynamic and reactive.
