Making a text post on YouTube kinda feels like speaking into the void so I’ll use that to my advantage: I’ve been feeling a lot of negative things lately and typically whatever I feel translates into whatever music I focus on. Lately, I’ve been working on a couple of atypical covers; songs that deal with love and heartbreak and translating them into my style as a means to deal with emotional strife. I’m currently working on a cover of Novo Amor’s “Anchor” and A Flock of Seagull’s “Space Age Love Song”; and they’re far from anything I typically post here. If you’re reading this, just know I sincerely appreciate you. Even if I don’t know who you are, the fact that you took the time to read this; whether it be from boredom, genuine curiosity or anything in between: I sincerely appreciate you. In celebration of nearing 1,000 subscribers, I am officially releasing "solus" (AKA my playthrough of "i physically can not stop writing djent") as a single, available November 21st. This video has garnered me by far, the most subscribers I've ever received on a video and I'm so thankful for the support and feedback it has received. My second single to be released, "the crashing of a thousand waves", drops everywhere next Friday, March 22nd. This song embraces the modern metal genre with pummeling riffs and soaring guitar solos.
