Two days ago while I was at work I heard a young boy scream "Daddy look! Its the fishing guy from Youtube!"
Then yesterday I went to the beach with my family in North Carolina. Over 100 miles away, thousands of people at the beach, my son and I were catching sandfleas for bait and the guy set up right next to me says "You have a youtube right? Southern Fish n Forage!"
It's awesome to see my videos reach so many people in the local fishing community! Thanks for watching, and tight lines!

Flounder have been among the most reliable targets in the Chesapeake Bay this year. I also got out and did some dock light fishing for the first time this year!

Hope everyone has a safe holiday weekend! We went to the Elizabeth River and enjoyed the show at Waterfront in Norfolk, the fireworks hit different when you're floating in your boat! Today we're hitting the water again, mostly to find some bait for tomorrow! Happy 4th everyone!

Happy father's day from my family to yours! I hope everybody had a safe fun filled holiday weekend! While everyone else is pulling their boat out of the water, we just launched and we're heading into a beautiful sunset to do a little live bait fishing. No filming, just hanging out with the kids.

Before I moved to Virginia 9 years ago, I spent my whole life on the east coast of central Florida. Man I miss the diversity of species down there! Tarpon and snook were always my favorites, I cant wait to get back down there to target them again!

Wow! We hit 6000 subs! When I started this channel I figured no one was ever going to watch my silly fishing videos, and here we are, exactly two years later, at 1.8 million views. Thats incredible. To put it in perspective, y'all have watched my videos for 73,532 hours which is equivalent to 3064 days or 8.4 years of continuous play. Pretty neat to think about. I knew the flounder video was gonna do decent, but I didn't anticipate over 4k views in 24 hours, I guess I'll make more videos like that! Again, I just want to say thanks for tuning in to the channel, I'm thankful for all my viewers and subscribers. Tight lines!
