designcourse.com 👈 Learn to build & design like a pro with AI.

Hi, I'm Gary. I've been at it with this channel since 2010. I've produced hundreds of courses on all things product design (UI/UX, frontend development, branding & AI). Outside of actively maintaining and building designcourse.com, I've worked with Envato Network's TutsPlus.com, DigitalTutors.com, Pluralsight.com, LinkedIn Learning & Lynda.com.

Some people are complaining that I'm covering a lot of AI now. They subscribed to me for the design content, not AI.

That's fine, but I've spent the last few years uploading videos at like 1x per week, completely bored and sick of covering the same crap ad nauseum. It was such a struggle and I hated the process after having done the same thing for 10+ years.

AI has come along and transformed how I work, and reinvigorated my desire to produce content.

I'm genuinely excited about AI, and I'm pushing this channel into focusing on design engineering. I'm not just teaching design anymore, I'm teaching full product development augmented with AI, along with hand-driven skills across design and code.

YOU CAN DO IT ALL NOW! To me? That's exciting as hell. To others, however, they're frustrated that I'm not confined in the UI/UX box.

Those people (which are mostly AI denialists) aren't going to fare well if they're going to keep their head in the sand regarding AI.

Again, I am not pivoting solely to AI. I'm covering all aspects of product development, which includes AI.

Hopefully my long time subscribers understand this, and look at this as an opportunity to expand their skills and have fun learning new tech.

Here's "Github Spark", Microsoft's response to Lovable/v0/Bolt. Have any of you tried it yet? Let me know your thoughts below.

New video coming tomorrow with my reaction.

I've updated this channel's avatar to the actual DesignCourse logo. It used the 3 dots from the old Coursetro brand for WAYYYY too long!

I'm refreshed and renewed -- expect a lot more frequency of videos. We're tackling the full product design process from here on out. We'll maximize use of AI, while utilizing design skills where necessary to build the best products possible.

It would be way too easy to make a video about this. Instead, I'll post this screenshot.

Hey all, happy new year!

I've been sick with a stomach bug the last few days, but beginning next week, we're resuming regular content and live streams.

I'll be posting my annual UI/UX crash course, along with releasing a brand new course on Wix Studio.

This year, I plan on really focusing on next level UI/UX, frontend dev, low/no code, and AI as it pertains to designers/coders.

Are you a UI/UX'er? If so, have you started to learn Rive yet?

This is why I'm very bullish on Rive and Unicorn Studio. I will be teaching this full project once Unicorn Studio goes open beta in January.

"2Advanced" sound familiar? If so, you might be an "OG" designer! They've recently relaunched their famous 'Flash Site of the Decade: Expansions". Except this time, it's not built in Flash. It's built in Rive!

We'll take a look at the new website in tomorrow's video, and also discuss exciting news regarding the future of UI/UX and digital design with tools like Rive.
