My 7 year old son helped me zip up my dress on Thursday evening whilst get ready for my first event in London as a Queen and said, ‘mummy you look so beautiful and your the best Queen mother ever’ 😂 Celebrating International Women’s Day and a treasure and honour to be a mother to two wonderful boys who give me pride and joy daily as I continue to raise my two princes. My Uncle (Benkumhene) told me either of my sons can be Benkumhene someday so who knows.. I know Manny certainly possesses the quality of a king because he is literally all of our bosses 😂
Have a wonderful International Women’s Day (weekend)

Yesterday evening I was invited by Labour MP of Brixton and Clapham Hill Bell Ribeiro-Addy. I attended The Houses of Parliament in London for an outstanding event for Ghana at 68 years of Independence. With notable speeches from dignitaries and ambassadors including Honarable Paul Boateng, I was so excited to be sat amongst Ghanaian royalty for the first time in the UK as Nanahemaa representing my hometown Kona, Ashanti Region.
Thank you to the wonderful @bell_ribeiroaddy who put such an amazing event together and for supporting me so much as a creative and also now as Nana Ama Oforiwaa II in the short time I have known you. We are so blessed to have a woman of so much positivity and drive to elevate her community as an MP who listens and is a voice for the people.

Happy Ghana Independence Day. Today is very special for all Ghanaians. Being free is indeed our birth right as Ghanaians and we have our forefathers and Dr Kwame Nkrumah to thank for declaring this day 68 years ago free from British rule.
I am also excited to enjoy today for the first time as a Queen Mother. I am a proud Ashanti, and even more prouder to hail from a royal lineage of true Akan wealth, culture and dynasty. I’m an Ekouni and very blessed to be a country girl from Kona, Ashanti Region.
To my Ghanaians… piawwwww enjoy today!
