I remember September 11, 2001, so vividly. My best friend and I were together, and like so many Americans that morning, we were scared and uncertain about what was happening and what might happen next. We needed to get to Pasadena, and despite the fear, we got on the freeway and, like Thelma and Louise, we kept going. We made it safely to Pasadena and eventually made it back home.

More than two decades later, that day remains etched in my mind—the fear, the uncertainty, and the overwhelming realization that life could change in an instant.

But today, I especially remember the countless people who got up that morning, got dressed, kissed their loved ones goodbye, and went to work just like they had done so many mornings before—never knowing they would not return home. September 11 is more than the anniversary of an act of terrorism; for me, it is also a solemn reminder of just how precious and unpredictable life is.

Tomorrow is never promised. Love people while they are here. Forgive when you can. Don't hold grudges, don't sweat the small stuff, and don't postpone living your life waiting for the "right" moment. Cherish today and the people you have been blessed to share it with.

GOOD MORNING & HAPPY TUESDAY!
The holiday weekend has come to an end, and for many of us, it’s back to work, back to school, and back to our regular routines. As we step into this new week, my thought for today is simple: having thick skin is your superpower. Life will require perseverance. People will have opinions about you, misunderstand you, criticize you, and sometimes even try to define you—but you have to know who you are before the world tries to tell you who you should be.

One thing I’ve learned is that it’s not what people call you—it’s what you answer to. Everything said about you does not deserve a response, and every opinion does not deserve space in your spirit. Believe in yourself. Stand firmly in what you know about yourself, keep moving forward, and don’t allow somebody else’s words to become your identity. Thick skin doesn’t mean you don’t feel—it means you’ve learned not to let everything you feel stop you. Keep going. Keep believing. Keep becoming. Your perseverance is part of your power.

And spiritually, never forget that God knew who you were before anybody ever formed an opinion about you. When you know who you are and, more importantly, whose you are, you don’t have to spend your life trying to prove yourself to everybody else. Some seasons will stretch you, some people will test you, and some experiences will strengthen you—but none of them get to determine your worth. Let God handle the noise while you protect your peace, stay focused on your purpose, and keep moving forward. Have a blessed Tuesday, family. We’ve got this!

SEPTEMBER EVE: Today is Monday, August 31st—the final day of the month—and I’m preparing for a GRAND RESET beginning tomorrow for all things The Official Tyesse Report.

I’ve done resets before. Some were successful…and some, well…LOL. But this one feels different.

September is already shaping up to be an eventful month. I’ll be taking some important steps toward ACTION in the legal matter involving a disgruntled former subscriber, preparing to launch my Substack, and continuing to build and expand what I’ve created. And outside of my own platform…let’s just say I believe September is going to be VERY jaw-dropping. No shade. 👀

The number 9 has long been associated with completion, transition, and bringing something to fruition—and that’s exactly where my spirit is right now. I believe September represents more than simply turning the calendar. It feels like a shift.

I don’t know exactly what thatshift will look like for me, my platform, or my brand—but I’m praying, preparing, and positioning myself for it. I’ve already set my intentions. Now my responsibility is to show up, remain disciplined, and do my best to honor them.

As I enter this new season, continue to lift me up in prayer, and I promise to continue doing the same for you.

September: New beginning. Reset. Realignment. And hopefully…a MAJOR SHIFT.

FRIDAY MESSAGE: THE LESSON WAS THE BLESSING

“All things are lessons God would have me learn.” -A Course in Miracles

Some things happened o teach you, not to shame you.

Every mistake does not require a lifetime sentence of regret. Every wrong turn does not mean you are lost. Every disappointment does not mean you failed. Sometimes the blessing wasn’t in what happened—the blessing was in what you learned because it happened.

You learned who you could trust.

You learned what you would never tolerate again.

You learned where you needed boundaries.

You learned that you were stronger than you thought.

And sometimes, you learned something about yourself that you needed to change.

That’s why you cannot spend the rest of your life being ashamed of a chapter that taught you how to write the next one.

The lesson was the blessing. What you do with the lesson is up to you. You can carry yesterday as a weight, or you can carry its wisdom into tomorrow. Regret keeps asking, “Why did I do that?” Growth asks, “What did that teach me?”

The Bible says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God.” -Romans 8:28 (KJV)

It doesn’t say all things are good. It says God can cause all things to work together for good. Even the mistake. Even the heartbreak. Even the season you wish you could erase.

So on this Friday, forgive yourself. Keep the wisdom. Release the shame. Honor the lesson. And move forward.

You survived the experience. Now live the lesson.
