Just because a Calorie is consumed doesnโ€™t mean all of it is absorbed. Depending on the macronutrient, your body uses a portion of those Calories just for processing; this is called the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF)

Fibre is a bit of a metabolic 'loophole.' Even though it is technically a carbohydrate, your body canโ€™t digest it directly. Instead, your system expends extra energy just trying to move and process it, which actuallyย boosts your metabolism! Because of this, you only absorbย 0 to 2 calories per gramย (roughly 0โ€“50% of a normal carb) while staying fuller for longer.

Many people use calculators but still don't see results. This is often because they lack deeper instructions on how to apply those numbers to real life.ย

Nicola said she wouldn't do my programme again.

This was what she said in her email to me:

I waited nearly 10 days for this package to arrive.

When Chris came to me, I knew his story because it was mine 10 years ago.

Heโ€™d tried. God knows heโ€™d tried. Started strong on Monday, fallen apart by Thursday. Every failure made the next attempt harder.

The mental barriers felt insurmountable.

What Chris needed wasnโ€™t another diet. He needed to understand how to make things work based on what was actually happening in his life.
