Just because a Calorie is consumed doesnโt mean all of it is absorbed. Depending on the macronutrient, your body uses a portion of those Calories just for processing; this is called the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF)
Fibre is a bit of a metabolic 'loophole.' Even though it is technically a carbohydrate, your body canโt digest it directly. Instead, your system expends extra energy just trying to move and process it, which actuallyย boosts your metabolism! Because of this, you only absorbย 0 to 2 calories per gramย (roughly 0โ50% of a normal carb) while staying fuller for longer.
Many people use calculators but still don't see results. This is often because they lack deeper instructions on how to apply those numbers to real life.ย

I waited nearly 10 days for this package to arrive.
And I couldnโt help thinking about how impatient I was for something that, letโs be honest, doesnโt actually matter that much.
