Hello Cryptonites! Just putting a plug here for Tony @ClassicGhost Walker's new magazine. As some of you will know, Tony is an industrious soul about whom the song "Everyday I'm Hustling" might have been written. The magazine is his latest project - and a handsome thing it looks too.
It's full of stories and reportage and lovely specially commissioned artwork. Not only that but I'm among the contributors, giving my four penn'orth about recent horror things I've watched.

Hello Cryptonites! Just thought I should take the opportunity of wishing you a Happy New Year.
I've recorded an H.R.Wakefield story and am in the process of editing/mixing for upload so please keep a look out for it in your subscription feeds.
I've got some original story ideas (some in my head, some on my laptop) and even less well-developed ideas for some different content for the channel (such as a series all about different characters living in Southton - the setting for a mermaid tale I wrote that some of you might remember). Of course, you can continue to expect the usual mixed bag of narrations of vintage and occasional contemporary strange stories on the channel, as often as my schedule allows.
Anyway...hope 2026 is treating you kindly so far. Happy New Year, as John Lennon never said: "Let's hope it's a good one...with plenty to fear 😱"

Hello Cryptonites! Just thought I'd let you know that I've finished writing a new original story and I plan to get it recorded and released either this weekend or early next week. It's a bit of a different one.
(EDIT: Well, my broken microphone put paid to that and now I'm busy with work 😟. Hopefully have it uploaded by the end of this week. Seriously fed up with this tbh.)

Hello all! You should have had a story upload last night, but due to an annoying (incorrect) claim over some of the music used, it's been held up. Hopefully it will be resolved quickly. If not I will be forced to re-edit...which is a bit of a drag considering this was already something of an epic production job. Still, as my fellow countryfolk will attest, we're used to Train delays around here...

Hello all! This is just a quick check-in by me to let you know I'm halfway through editing the next story for the channel (it's another weird ventriloquist dummy story) and hope to have it out by the weekend. It's taking time because I'm struggling to get some of the right sounds and music cues. I'm also working on the final episode of Tony Walker's "Ashridge" series (if you haven't caught up with it yet, I urge you to; the finale is going to be quite something). And then there's all the other stuff that gets in the way. Anyway...fear not...I'm still here. And you should have "Devil Doll" in the next few days.
