Luke 6:27-28 teaches us to love our enemies, do good to those who hate us, and bless those who curse us. It also teaches us to respond to challenges by loving, doing good, blessing, praying, and giving.
Here are some other things that Luke 6 teaches us:
God will hold us responsible for how we treat others.
If we show compassion and mercy to others, we will be shown compassion and mercy.
If we are judgmental and critical of others, we should expect to be treated the same way by God.
We should live as God lives, mercifully and generously beyond expectation.
We should help those who are suffering, especially from sin and ignorance.
