Dear Smokin Fam Friends and Fans,

We're excited to announce that after a brief hiatus, we're back with some new music! During our time off, we had the privilege of having Chelsie back with us and we took the opportunity to remix a few songs and finish some others that just didn't feel complete without her. We've also recorded some cover songs, Wicked Aces Remixes, and a couple of new tracks.

This break also gave us a chance to rest and heal. I underwent surgery on my arm and hand and I'm still recovering, but I've been able to finish some musical projects and work on some things around the house. Sadly, we're also grieving the recent loss of our brother Randall.

As you may know, my wife encouraged me to pursue my dreams, and I've been doing just that for the past three years. To repay her, I'm building her dream house, which is the house she grew up in.
This has been a significant project that has caused some delays, but we're excited to share more about it soon.

We're also thrilled to share some new music with you, including "That's What He Said!" This track has an epic backstory, and we're excited to have Chelsie and Nick on board, absolutely crushing it. Stay tuned for more updates.

At Smokin Ivories, we have been deeply affected by the loss of one of our own family members, David Randall Cline, to suicide.

Randall was a close friend and an integral part of our team at StudioDancini/Postal Buffalo Studios. Despite his struggles with physical disability after a car accident, Randall was a loving and supportive presence in our lives and in our music.
The song "Don't Be Afraid," which is dedicated to suicide prevention, holds special meaning for us as a reminder of the devastating impact that suicide can have on those left behind.

We lost a dear friend and a valuable member of our team, and our hearts are heavy with grief. Please keep Randall's family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Randall. We love and miss you.

Vi and I decided to do something special for Chase. Music Heals, Music Inspires, and Music Against All Odds.

To see the look on his face today on playback was the greatest was a beautiful joy.

Everything was supposed to be on autopilot and todays tribute Thursday had to be rearranged and then rearranged again because this week my tribute goes to my son Chase Christian David. So there will be a slight delay tonight but worth the wait.

For the last 2-1/2 years I have been grinding away about every spare moment I had musically and sadly the last few months of being sick has taken its toll on me physically and emotionally.

To be honest since October of 2020 has been anything but easy, tragedy after tragedy, funeral after funeral. I never really dealt with these emotions, emotionally just musically.

I’ve decided to take a much needed break from music. My wife let me follow my dream for the last 2-1/2 years and I’m gonna finish building her dream house in the house she grew up in. It means the world to me just like she does.

It’s been an amazing ride up until this point and its not over just yet…

We have so many unreleased tracks and I’m not gonna leave you Smokin Fans hanging.

I have them all on autopilot and will update this post with them. In between tracks in post pro or schedule conflicts etc Vitor and have been working on an EDM side project as well called Wicked Aces Wicked Places.

Also the remainder of the Day by Day album, Covered Vol 2 which I think we did some dope covers. Battle Scars Album and an all nothing but instrumentals catered strictly to the gamers.

I love making music, I’ll never stop, I need to make use out of whats left of my hands while I still can and my beautiful wife deserves this. I’ll be back…We will be back… and with a new StudioDancini.

Smokin’ Fans Forgive the absence. Unfortunately I gave birth to twin kid rocks and am the proud father and mother of them.
That was brutal pain and I feel for anyone who has ever had them. Imagine a crushed cornflake chunk squeezing through an eyelash and so painful your body won’t stop throwing up pain.
