We wanted to share a quick note about this week’s video. Our Hobart episode is coming next, but we decided to pause on releasing it just yet. Instead, we are sharing a more reflective conversation that felt important to have before moving on. 

This week’s episode is about how people make hard decisions when there’s no perfect choice. It’s a reality of long-term travel that doesn’t get talked about much, and one we know many of you may relate to, whether you travel full time or not. 

As we move through the holidays, we hope you’re finding moments of connection and rest with the people you love. And if this season is a hard one for you—for any reason—we see you. Hobart is coming next, and we can’t wait to share beautiful Tasmania with you. In the meantime, we hope you’ll watch this week’s episode with an open heart.

We had so many sweet moments in Melbourne. And while we knew that our time in Tasmania and New Zealand would be a bit faster than we prefer and it's been incredible so far, our production schedule has taken a hit. We hope you bear with us a little longer as this week’s video is delayed. We wrap up Rotorua today and then head to Nelson, New Zealand for Christmas and New Year's, and that should give us a bit more breathing room as we head into 2026. We are so appreciative of your patience and support. We'll be releasing our Melbourne video soon, so stay tuned (and help the algorithm out and watch it when we are able to send it out!). We're in Texas visiting Kevin's sister (and other Houston & Austin family members) and decided to take this opportunity to replace worn clothing and upgrade our water bottles. It's a quick week detour that we cut from our stay in Sarajevo before heading to Dubrovnik.
