We're Lauren, Daniel, and Baby Dash. We're an American full-time travel family exploring the world one incredible place at a time. We're entrepreneurs, runners, foodies, and adventurers at heart.
When we're Stateside, we live #rvlife in an Airstream. But, when we're abroad our home is wherever we find ourselves.
We've been a full-time travel family since January 2019 but didn't start our channel until we got the Airstream. We figured we should probably document how insane we were for moving into an RV with ZERO prior experience.
Why Wanderlocal? As small business owners, we've always been passionate about shopping local. As we travel, we're featuring our favorite locally-owned businesses that we find along the way.
We hope by sharing our adventures, you'll be inspired to get out there and wanderlocal too. Trust us, it's good for the soul. ❤️

Do you have a favorite city that has simply captured your heart?
For our family, that’s Barcelona. Every time we plan a trip here, we wonder if it will hold the same magic as the time before. It never disappoints.
We spent 6 weeks here this trip, and sadly didn’t shoot a single video. Somehow with two littles, there’s always something else that takes priority, but thankfully we got these stunning photos.

Well, we’ve had the best intentions to stay consistent here, but holy moly has life been a whirlwind lately - some challenging things, some incredible things.
We pinky promise we’ll get y’all an update video soon, but the biggest current update is that we’re in Barcelona, Spain this month. We’re eating amazing food, playing with the boys, and soaking up one of our favorite places on earth.
Oh, and running. Like a lot of running. 🤪 Want to see more on that, follow @thewanderwife on Instagram and watch her stories. Lauren is training to qualify for the Boston Marathon this year and has been chronicling her training there, but we’re all running together while here, so it’s a family affair.

It was another @runDisney weekend to remember. 💪
On Saturday, I (Lauren) ran the half-marathon and secured a new PR. Daniel ran the marathon on Sunday in 3.5 hours despite minimal training (he’s a beast)!
We are officially sleep deprived and Dash is pumped full of sugar, but it was a crazy fun and successful weekend! 💪
P.S. - Yes! We will absolutely be at the Florida RV Supershow show this week. Leave a comment below and tell us what days you’re attending, as we’re making our attendance plan tomorrow after some shut eye.🤪❤️

How has it already been almost three months as a family of four? 😍
We know it’s been quiet over here. And no, we haven’t given up the YouTube channel or traveling. Things just got a little complicated right after Jett was born. We’re hoping they’ll be sorted soon so we can get back to sharing our adventures, as we have tons of fun plans for 2025! 🎉

This trip sure wasn’t planned, but it filled our cups none the less. When challenges are thrown your way, it’s hard to beat time with those you love.
Happy to be headed home to Florida this week to get back to a normal routine, but sure will miss the colors of fall and the friends and family we leave behind. 😘

We made it to Nashville! 🎼
It took us three travel days in the truck (no RVs, more on that later) to evacuate Tampa Bay. Feeling extra thankful we got a head start as an 11 hour road trip with a newborn was a tall order, but Baby Jett did great.
Now we’re waiting with baited breath with the rest of Florida to see what Milton has in store for us. Sending all our love to those in the storms path. ❤️

Well, we expected to be sharing our birth story for our sweet new boy tonight, but instead we’re running from another hurricane.🤦♀️
Thank you to all of you who’ve sent us texts, DMs, and called to make sure we were getting somewhere safe. We’re evacuating up to GA tonight and likely home to Lauren’s parents in Nashville tomorrow.
Send us all the good vibes. Doing a road trip with a week and a half year old wasn’t part of our plan, but here we go!

Whew, it’s been one heck of an insane week for our family.
A beautiful new baby. A scary hurricane. The aftermath.
Thankfully our townhome is fine. We are all safe, healthy, and grateful. Our hearts are broken for all that was lost during Hurricane Helene.
