The Australian Citizens Party is an independent political party, established in 1988 in Queensland, leading the fight for Australia to return to the banking & economic development policies that will grow our productive economy & secure the future well-being for all Australians.
The Citizens Party's policy program addresses the reality that a new financial crisis is inevitable. By any measure, the Australian & global financial systems are in worse condition today than at the time of the 2008 global financial crisis, especially in terms of what caused the last crisis—unpayable debt.
For over 30 years the CEC/Citizens Party has fought as an independent party for the principles of the common good & national sovereignty, in economic and foreign policy, which are needed today.

An innocent Australian citizen has languished in NSW maximum security prisons for almost three years because Australia has given up its sovereignty to the United States.
Dan Duggan has broken no Australian laws and never been charged with a crime in his life, yet he has been locked away from his wife and six children for more than 1,000 days so the Australian government can help the US government make an example of him to people who do business with China.
All Australians should be extremely concerned that our government will not protect its citizens if the government coming after them is the USA.
Dan’s final court hearing is on 16 October.
