I share a lot of fun things on social media, but sometimes real life hits, too. My younger brother just had his first baby, Bobby. Due to some unforeseen health complications, he was immediately taken to the NICU.
For the first few days, he was the most at-risk baby in the hospital, so when I came to visit, we made the decision to go ahead and do his Baptism. With so much uncertainty about his little body, there was comfort knowing there was certainty about his little soul. He was adopted into God’s family- a real moment of joy in the midst of a dark valley.
His parents have been heroes through all of this, and the doctors say Bobby’s progress has been “remarkable.” They’re hopeful he can go home soon. God is good.
We appreciate any prayers for baby Bobby, and if you’re going through a dark time, don’t lose hope. We have a Father in heaven who works all things for good.

It’s kind of crazy to me that one of my classmates in seminary, Fr. Rick, is now the pastor at my family’s parish.
We spent seven years studying together, preparing to be priests, but I never imagined God was also preparing him to be a spiritual Father for my family.
He very kindly allowed me to come by and do my niece’s 1st Communion (she was thrilled). I’m just five years into ministry, but there have already been so many moments filled with God’s providence. Good things to come!

6 Catholic priests in a band, packed the house with 2,400 people at a sold-out show last Friday!
Over the past 12 years, the Concert for Life has raised over $1 million dollars for women in crisis pregnancies. This year, we had almost 4,000 people come to the shows in three cities.
A huge thanks to everyone who came and donated, and a special thanks to the priests in the band.
We’ll see you next year!

They could easily be playing professionally in the music world (and several have), but chose to go all-in on priesthood instead.
