Gentleness
Scripture: “Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.” — Galatians 6:1 (NIV)

My Story:
I used to think corrections had to be stern to be effective. But in my brokenness, Jesus came with gentleness, never to shame me, but to restore me. When I was weighed down by illness, pain, and guilt over what I couldn’t do, His Holy Spirit never scolded me. He quietly breathed truth into my weary heart, reminding me of who I am in Christ Jesus. That gentleness reshaped how I respond to others and to myself.

God’s truth, His Glory!
Galatians 6:1 reminds us of a grace-filled way to help those who stumble. Like Jesus, we’re called to restore with gentleness, not judgment. Gentleness is not weakness; it is power under control. It takes strength to speak with mercy and to correct without crushing someone's spirit.

Today's Colour is Silver

Art Prompt: “Silver lining”
In your art journal, paint dark clouds with Silver linings. Use dark, medium, and light values. Experiment with the shades while focusing on your personal emotions.

Let today be a day where gentleness restores, both in how you treat yourself and others.

Colourful Faith: Christian Expressive Art

Have you ever felt like you were planted in the wrong place… maybe you are in a season of difficulty, of waiting, or even loneliness?

Let me remind you of something incredible:
You were not just spoken into being like the stars or oceans.
You were formed.
Handcrafted by God Himself.

Genesis 2:7 says,

“Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life…”

Just imagine that…
The Creator of the universe got His hands into the dust for you. He formed you with care and detail.

And when He saw that His creation was good, He breathed His own breath into you.
His Spirit. His life. His creativity.

And when Jesus rose from the grave, He didn’t leave us alone.
He gave us the Ruach—the Holy Spirit.
The same breath that gave life in the beginning now lives in us.

That means…
You carry His Spirit.
His creativity.
His power.
His love.

And because of that, you can bloom right where you are planted.
Even in hard soil.
Even in quiet seasons.
Even if no one sees the growth at first.

I use art to bloom, sharing His message of love, hope, and truth.
Maybe you use your voice.
Maybe you play an instrument, write words, or lift others with your joyful nature.

However, you’re planted,
Let His Spirit move through you.

Let’s prophesy goodness and speak His life and Word to the people around us.
Because when we live from His Spirit, we don't just survive.
We bloom.

Shalom
