Hurricane Melissa has left my beautiful Island Jamaica in devastation. Every day the hills and the valley bears a testimony of how destructive this hurricane was. Not to mention the many infrastructure and lifes that will forever change. Life will never be the same, as we now adopt to new norms.The landscape has been reshaped into something we never thought it could. Some people are without house and land as water now accupies the land space. Currently I am without water and electricity. Thankfully we have rivers and springs to get water, but that comes with it's own challenges. However, I am thankful for life as many didn't make it out alive. To their families and friends I grieve with you. We will rise again but it will take time a lot of time maybe years. Our mobile service is very unstable. I am greatful to our neighbors who allow us to use their starlink. Thou we have to travell to do so. As I adjust to the new way of living, I know that there are many who are in a worst condition. Only time will tell how we cope mentally after such a traumatic experience. Thankfully a small part of the island was not severely damaged. To all my Jamaican subscribers and viewers keep strong and look ahead there is hope so never forget that. See you all soon. With love Meka
