Video in progress: I'm currently in the process of creating my first mosaic, which draws inspiration from a literary classic. Today, I applied black wood stain to both the inside and outside of a wooden tray. My next steps involve sealing the stain and eventually grouting the piece with gray grout to bring out every detail. Inside the tray, I've crafted a mosaic featuring autumn leaves against a starry blue sky, with a radiant golden moon as the centerpiece. For much of my life, my identity was tied to being a dedicated, hardworking employee. However, I had not explored deeper into what truly sparked joy in my life. That all changed when I met Shawn. He's been my partner for nearly five years now, and our journey together has been nothing short of transformative.

Shawn opened my eyes to the potential within me that extended beyond just being a good employee. He inspired me to tap into my creative side, to find joy in creating, and to cultivate skills that resonated with me on a personal level.

This journey of self-discovery led me down several creative paths. I started with melt and pour soap making, then delved into crafting resin and clay jewelry, and even tried my hand at wire weaving. As I continued exploring, I uncovered an unexpected passion in diverse areas like baking, drawing, painting, soap making and ultimately, glass art.

Glass art, in particular, has been a revelation. Starting with fusing glass, I was captivated by the transformative power of heat and color. This fascination has evolved into a deep love for stained glass art. Looking ahead, I'm eager to merge my passions by painting on stained glass, a process that involves fusing the glass multiple times after each layer of paint.

Throughout this journey, I've discovered a passion for learning and growth. Each new skill adds a vibrant stroke to the canvas of my life. Eager to share this unfolding story, I've taken to multiple platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, to document my progress.

I'm profoundly grateful for the butterfly effect that has shaped my life. Each interaction, each influence, each step forward has led to this fulfilling journey. And for this, I want to thank each one of you for being part of my story.

Rediscovering the art of soap making with hot processed soap! Lesson learned: Pouring the lye water into the oils is crucial, not the other way around like I did! 🙈 Time to rebatch this batch and turn it into something beautiful. Excited to practice and perfect my soap making skills once again!
