Art Vs Artist 2024 🥹🍀✨🍑 This year I still haven't reached the desires goal despite all of my efforts. But its the year I totally transformed my art style and found brushes and color palettes that I love to use 💚 I also found what I wanted is to draw for Romance authors and things related to romance in life.
I'm Grateful for all the artists I've met this year online and for supporting me, I also love to support and also meeting lovely authors ✨
Ending November Freely 💚 As much as I list down everything on my planner the things I achieved. I decided to not do anything and focus on other stuff like letting myself be and not labeling myself lazy just because I wanted to rest. I think the guilt and shame came from our Filipino culture that whenever you don't do anything most elders who see you would tell you're lazy and society as a whole most of the time glorifies this sense of productivity and achievement. I let those get into my skin sometimes without me knowing it and whenever I just wanted to rest, shame and guilt crept in. And I don't like hearing these in my head so I just acknowledge them befriended these thoughts comforted them and said: Hey! You know you shouldn't be ashamed for resting and wanting to not do anything at all even for a week. The world is just there and that thing you want will wait for you no matter what you do everything unfolds in perfect times and you're never too late or too early you're always right on time with whatever it is you're doing and wanting to do.
What I realized from this was my last experience when I was going through it 5 years ago. Things come when you just live life in the moment and enjoy what you’re doing. When I push myself too much that’s when I don’t enjoy it that’s why I came with the thought of you know I don’t wanna push it when I don’t feel like it. When I feel like resting I’ll trust my body and instincts with that. Some people would call me irrational or doesn’t make sense to them well I make sense to myself because I trust myself enough and besides I know when I feel good I am unstoppable as funny as that sounds 😂 unstoppable just makes me laugh HAHAHAHA because HELL YA NO ONE CAN STOP ME BUT ME. Part of keeping it going is also taking pauses and reflecting. What a long ass message and Hell yeah this is a way that I express myself
