Hey friends,

I've been pretty quiet lately, and this is why.

On Monday* I'm releasing the most thorough, research-heavy piece of content I've ever made - by an order of magnitude. It's a full-length documentary on ABA therapy, from an autistic perspective, based on;

* me completing the RBT training course
* digging through /decades/ of ABA research and ethics documents
* and looking at brand-new 2025 data on ABA and mental health crises

It's not just a 'hit piece' or a sales pitch. I talk to what ABA gets right 𝘢𝘯𝘥 where it goes badly wrong - including hearing directly from people inside ABA who are trying to change it, and from autistic adults who went through it as kids.

It's taken almost a year of evenings, weekends and far too many cups of tea to pull everything together. This is the video that I wish had existed when people first told me, "ABA is the gold standard".

Because YouTube won't notify everyone (and long videos get buried easily), I'm going to ask a favour:

According to Simon Baron-Cohen's early Theory of Mind work; *all autistic people lack a theory of mind mechanism*. And one of the most popular advanced theory of mind tests can identify this mechanism by found by guessing adjectives for a cropped photo of someone's eyes (yes, really).
