Unfortunately, I have some bad news.
As you may have heard, GW has once again launched its, to me incomprehensible, campaign against Fan-Animations. It's really not a rumor, or just talk between time when the Ork player counts his hit dices. A fierce strike, they've already got two channels of only slightly smaller but great creators/fans than me. Why this is happening we can only guess. The reality is that GW has the legal right to do it... Whether it's a smart decision and sort of "moral" is another question. It may be because they are "clearing" the field for an upcoming deal/contract with Amazon. Or something else. Or maybe it's just that a new active rights fighter on the infinite internet has gotten into a warm seat inside a warm corporation... I don't know.
I only know from many sources. (verified, real and "close") that it's happening. Quickly, quietly and quite ruthlessly. So we are probably entering a time when Fan-Animations from the Warhammer will be in bad position... I'm not worried that this time will last forever. Times and moods change.
But what does that mean for my work? Well... I'll continue to watch how things develop. And proceed accordingly... For now, I'll just slow down work on the sequel to The Awakening and pour my time into another Animation from another universe so that I'm ready to reschedule if necessary and the years of "hard work" don't go to waste. That's it...

Feel free to post what you think about the whole thing... we can talk about it.
One last question... What universe could be worked on, besides Warhammer? I'm toying with the idea of Blizzard's Diablo or Trench Crusade - which is slowly gaining momentum.

It's done!
Hold on to your hats! This Friday, 28.2. at 18:00 (GMT+1) will be the premiere of a new, short animation. Here on YT - Videos is allready uploaded.
A link between the original project, The Awakening, and its future ending - the final chapter. It's not 50 minutes like last time :P, but hopefully, the 7 minutes will make you happy and set the stage for a grand finale :)
I look forward to your reactions. I think the animation shows the lessons learned from the last few years.
After the premiere, stay tuned! From time to time, I will reveal more about the upcoming last chapter:)

So...
Done...
The short animation serving as a, interlude, between the upcoming sequel and the end of The Awakening story is finished and ready to be released.
I'm just waiting for one last feedback for possible tweaking. It's not a big deal, 7 minutes of simple animation. No dialogue, no strong plot, a little of action. But it baked up pretty well :) You will see...
The animation serves as a link between the first project and the upcoming ending...
I'll say more about the upcoming ending later...
And I'll get back to you soon with the "premiere" date!

Soooo...
At the moment I'm working on the final form of a new, short, simple animation... A light sequel to The Awakening... A small intermezzo for the last part of the story.
Animation done, rendering done, video editing done... Music is selected... Sound effects underway :) It will be done very soon! So keep your eyes peeled... I'll get back to you before release!
P.S. The length of the footage is 7 minutes... "Not great, not terrible" in the words of the classic...

Merry Christmas!! Dear friends, I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas. A time celebrated around the world that has one thing in common. Light comes to darkness. Undeservedly we have been gifted and unselfishly we are to give. Enjoy this beautiful time with your family and loved ones as you see fit! And remember that in our world, as well as in the future grim-dark one, there are forces that transcend us and protect us ;)

Oooouuuu shit... Here We go again... The animation process for the upcoming - small! - project for this Christmas is in full swing. So far it's a lot of vruuum-vruuuum and also heeem-heeem. Later, also some pew-pew and boom-boom!
A little wrap-up to The Awakening project... numbe#1 ... Also: sound editing will be hell!! :/
