Summary: a mythological retelling of Homer's Iliad, told from the perspective of Patroclus, a young Greek prince. It follows Patroclus's exile, his deep bond and love with the demigod Achilles, their training under Chiron, and their tragic fate during the Trojan War.

The concept of this book sounds very intriguing and it has brilliant reviews online, so I'm excited to read this.

Just a quick post from me to give a huge thank you for reaching 9k subscribers and for all the support recently. And to also give a couple of updates!

We’re onto the big 10k next… which feels like a very huge milestone for me. I’m hoping we can reach it by the end of the year but we’ll see what happens! I’m so grateful for those of you who are subscribed to me so far, it means a lot.

Announcement time!

For those of you who miss the book content I used to upload, you’ll hopefully be pleased to know that I’ve created a new channel called BeckyDoesBooks! The first video has just been uploaded to that channel, and let me know what other book-related content you want to see from me over there.

Finally, a few people have been asking for ways to support with my upcoming life changes, such as a baby wishlist (which by the way, thank you so much for wanting to support! It’s very kind).

I’ve been making a shopping list of things I need to get before baby arrives, and someone mentioned in my comments about creating a wishlist on Throne, so that’s what I’ve decided to do. If anyone wants to support, no matter how big or small, then the wishlist might be a nice place to check out. There is NO OBLIGATION to support in this way (just watching my videos, liking and commenting means everything to me), but a few people have been asking so I thought I’d create one just in case anyone was interested and wanted to contribute in this way. It will be extremely appreciated.
