Some words from Julia about the track: “i wrote it in the summer of 2020, a few days after my grandma passed away. she was living in a nursing home, but, due to the restrictions of the time, my grandpa couldn't visit her in person and instead had to say his goodbyes standing outside, talking through the open window of her room. the song tells that story through his eyes, using many of his words, and it’s dedicated to anyone out there who’s had to weather loss in strange ways, to share the strength of love in spite of separation.” 🪟💙
