For those who are unaware because you don't follow me on Twitter. I have some tragic news. As of November 5th 2025, a legendary guest star of this channel, beloved by everyone in my community who encountered him. The king of cameos and the inspiration for my love of aviation: John Dadimarchy. Passed into the next realm, where he presumably is in a fist fight with Dick Cheney while waiting in the queue to get in, though hopefully he gets a better room than Dick and Henry get.

I will miss him terribly. But the show, as they say, goes on. New video before the end of the month hopefully, after that Soviet Aviation Shenanigans SHALL RESUME IN FORCE. Because if there is one thing my dad wants, its more people to laugh at the madness of MiG, the silliness of Sukhoi and the idiocy of Ilyushin.

ATTENTION EVERYONE!

Due to the Length of the original script (ALMOST 28,000 WORDS) and the flow of the narrative "The Americans Who Won WW2 With Crime" is being split into a two parter, DON'T WORRY THOUGH. There is method to my madness: FIRST it allows me to use both clickbaity titles from the previous poll with equally clickbaity thumbnails that better fit the theme. Because the Rag Tag Circus title doesn't come into play until the second half of the video near the end so it doesn't make sense for the Normandy and St Malo sections as WAY MORE badassery happened there than you can imagine.

AND SECOND... It will allow me to get content out faster for you guys instead of you waiting ages. Don't worry the script is already written so like the Azur Lane videos I used to do back in the day, they will be recorded and released back to back relatively quickly instead of you waiting 8 months like Soviet Aviation or Boat Touching.

ON THE SUBJECT OF BOAT TOUCHING... That episode is sadly postponed until the new year because of things going on with Sponsors ETC, we are getting everything set up with exciting stuff for the channel so that bad boy is gonna be a 4 hour extravaganza with a big sponsor, whole shebang. Well everyone… it’s been a while since one of my news streams where I offer my take. A lot of you are probably familiar with my crash outs on Twitter and my reactions to the current state of the world, I don’t exactly hide my opinions and I like to think that gives me a level of transparency. I will never hide my bias nor will ever claim not to be. The moment you hear a historian say they don’t have bias or they are completely objective is the moment you realise you are listening to a bad historian or worse, a gaslighting propagandist.

Anyway. The reason I’m posting this is that I want to return to news streams and political streams after seeing other creators like MoistCritical and my friend LazerPig who both identify as centrists, weighing in and making that sort of content.

That said, I don’t want to infect the history channel with what I consider low effort content, I used to do that with the CoD content when I started out and since having transitioned to proper documentary film making, albeit with a comedic edge, I want to hold myself to a higher standard.

With that in mind I am considering a second channel dedicated to that type of content, if I may make a cringe comparison it would operate similarly to other creators of that vein such as Secular Talk, Hasan or to use right wing examples Sargon and Count Dankula’s second channel. Where it’s just me offering my take and losing my mind at the world’s stupidity for your entertainment. I know a lot of you don’t share my political views, I am to the left of pretty much every military history creator on the platform. But I also consider myself a moderating influence in the left wing space because of that, I am friends with conservatives, libertarians and various other people who disagree with me because regardless of those differences. On the core issues of humanity we share a common moral centre, do what’s right because it’s right, the politics is about the how and we leave that to the bureaucrats. My position is about doing the most good with the least harm, giving everyone a fair shot and never succumbing to the bigotry, callousness and reactionary “own the libs” or “everyone’s a fascist” nonsense seen on both extremes of the aisle.

A vlog channel is not a new concept, nor is a clips and “low effort dvd extras” channel. But it’s a step I’ve hesitated to take, it’s a similar reason as to why I haven’t started a gaming channel.

Now. With all of this said I’m putting up a poll to see your thoughts and I also would like viewers of all types and positions to comment below and offer their opinions.
