When i made my first YouTube video on this channel on August 20th, 2019 my intention was for it to be a hobby, nothing more, nothing else, and that has stuck with me today even if I take YouTube more serious. In 2023 I had around 300 subscribers, and in around July of that year I came across skibidi toilet, it was a cool series that seek my attention and had me hooked to the series with new episodes every 1-5 days, it was great, expect on thing… this would kinda cause me to not have many friends and probably some fake friends sprinkled in with everyone calling skibidi toilet brainrot, back then this bothered me and kinda would like to say traumatized me. To this day I’m always nervous to tell people what I really like because I’m too nervous to tell them what my real preferences are, but that’s not the main part of this post. It’s something else… something recurring with this channel. With me making edits on skibidi toilet I started to blow up, by the end of 2023 I had 1,000 subscribers, something I’ve dreamed about daily before, and I achieved it. It was a grasp of joy inside me and it got me to take YouTube serious. By the end of 2024 I had 2.7K subscribers and now I have 8K subscribers, which is a huge jump. But as the months go on making the daily edits I have been doing since May, something unsettling grew inside me… in October skibidi toilet took a not so bright turn with its decisions and I’ve lost my interest in the series, which is something I wouldn’t want coming… and with that it’s also been making not want to make my usual skibidi toilet edits… I think you can tell, throughout October and this month my edits have had less effort put into them and for me that usually indicates that I’ve lost passion for it. So I have made the decision to move on. I’ve had other hobbies grow on me and I wanna experiment with it and see where it can take me. I will still be doing editing ofc but not skibidi toilet edits that is something I’ve lost the passion for… I will post a few more skibidi edits with a big one coming that I’m gonna try to put tons of effort into and then after that I will purse editing on other games and tv shows… skibidi toilet will stay with me though, and I will always be eternally grateful for how far it’s brought me, it’s brought me amazing friends online, and ofc you guys, you guys are the reason that I have gotten this far and I will always be grateful for it. So I hope that you can understand why I wanna move on, not for views or clicks, it’s more my hobbies and my enjoyment… if you have any ideas of what I could do pls share I would love to hear your guys feedback on what I should and I’ll throw some of my preferences in there… anyways with that said I’m gonna go make a geometry dash level, have a good day y’all ✌️
