What’s truly frustrating is that despite me calling out the unacceptable behavior and protecting the server, the subsequent drama from the offender refusing to drop the issue led to me getting a temporary ban—an unfortunate reminder that sometimes, moderators only see the recent back-and-forth instead of the person who initiated the toxic environment. This entire situation is a crucial lesson that while it’s essential to speak up against toxic behavior, we must also demand that context is paramount for fair moderation to keep our communities genuinely safe.
