Who wants more on the Elyarchi story?
After 196 emails and weeks of testing, repairs, and communication, Elyarchi is now accusing me of misrepresentation, contract breach, and encouraging hostility toward their brand. They’ve pulled the final payment (I don’t want their bribe money anyway), canceled their promise to send me an updated unit, and are now threatening to release selected portions of our private correspondence.
I guess I will unpack this with quotes from their own emails.
They sent me a printer. It arrived damaged. The firmware was buggy. Prints failed to start. When it did work, quality suffered on retraction-heavy models. I worked through every issue, logging hours of troubleshooting, communicating frequently, and trying to get the machine stable enough to show.
They praised my effort the entire time:
“We truly appreciate the tremendous amount of time and effort you’ve invested…”
“We’re still very grateful that you're taking the time to share your experience.”
They even acknowledged the machine wasn’t ready:
“We understand the video might not follow a traditional review format… Your feedback will be invaluable.”
I produced a respectful, honest video that simply walked through what I experienced. Of course they didn’t want it published, but I had a looming weight on my shoulder telling me I needed to save backers from the Kickstarter, if they didn’t have disposable income. If they did, I clearly said Elyarchi’s product modifications could have made the printer a gold mine.
So I published the video and that’s when they flipped. Suddenly:
“We are requesting that you remove the video immediately… If the video is not removed, I will be forced to escalate the situation by reporting the issue to YouTube and informing our industry contacts.”
Yeah…. that’s a literal threat. How can a brand think threatening a creator is the most acceptable course of action? So I posted that one single line publicly. Because I think the community should know what’s being said behind the scenes. And now they’re furious that I shared one vulnerable sentence. Meanwhile, in their latest email, they’re threatening to publicly dump our entire email chain.
Let that sink in. They’re mad I quoted them threatening me… and now they’re threatening to leak everything we discussed. They’re upset I was transparent with my audience… so their solution is to be less professional and more aggressive? If that’s not the definition of hypocrisy, I don’t know what is.
Now in the latest email from Elyarchi:
“Despite our internal concerns, we agreed to pay the remaining collaboration fee in recognition of the time and energy you had spent. It is therefore inaccurate to claim in your video that we might refuse payment.”
But later in the email:
“We are formally withdrawing the remaining payment. We also retract our earlier offer to send the updated version of the Alcheman printer.”
So I suppose I wasn’t wrong when I made that claim suggesting the remaining fee might be withheld? Also, to my community, I am sorry you wont get a full, real, traditional ThePrintHouse review on the Elyarchi Alchman. This is beyond my control.
Also in the same email:
“…the proper response to receiving a damaged machine would have been to refuse further cooperation.”
Really? After 100+ messages thanking me for my persistence and patience, now the claim is that I acted in bad faith for continuing the review?
Here’s the truth: they praised me while I was quietly fixing things. They turned when I said something publicly. This isn’t about “video quality” or “brand direction” like they are claiming it to be. This is about them not liking how honesty looks on camera. I mean honestly, how can this be interpreted any other way, “This misrepresentation has contributed to the spread of misinformation and generated unwarranted hostility toward our brand.” I make real content. If the truth causes damage, that’s not on me, it’s the product. And let's be clear, I do not and did not promote hostility in any way.
I’ll always choose honesty over keeping a sponsor happy. That’s what actual creators do. And through all of this, don’t forget that I was relentlessly saying, “I still have hope for the Alchman.” Well guess what, I no longer have hope.

Oh screw you Elyarchi 😂
After 196 emails of respectful cooperation, Elyarchi flipped on me for posting a truthful video about their broken Kickstarter printer. I trusted them despite all the issues, and this is what I get?
“If the video is not removed, I will be forced to escalate the situation by reporting the issue to YouTube and informing our industry contacts and other brand partners of this breach of professional conduct.”
I spent well over 30 hours of debug efforts. For what? A measly $500 fee, of which they paid $100
